Terms of Service

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these terms. Provide accurate account information and use only an account you are authorized to access. Protect your sign-in credentials and access tokens, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account or connected agents.

Research, not investment advice

Capitalyst provides tools and information for research and education. It does not provide personalized investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, execute trades, or act as your broker or investment adviser. Content is not a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security. You make your own investment decisions and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal; historical performance does not guarantee future results.

Data, alerts, and availability

Market prices, news, filings, financial figures, and other third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Check reporting dates and original sources before relying on information. Research refreshes and alert emails are not real-time monitoring, and alerts or messages may arrive late or fail to arrive. Do not rely on Capitalyst for time-sensitive trading, order execution, or guaranteed notification delivery.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particular research coverage, or any investment outcome. Third-party services and source data remain subject to their own terms and rights.

Your content and connected agents

You retain your rights in the notes and other content you submit. You grant us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the service. Submit only content you are entitled to use, and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.

Sharing an access token authorizes a connected agent to read the information available through it. Review the agent provider’s terms and privacy practices before connecting. You can revoke tokens, but we cannot recall information already received by a third party. Capitalyst’s MCP tokens grant the permissions selected when they are created. Read and write tokens allow agents to change watchlists, notes, alerts, and read states. MCP access does not authorize trading.

Private markets

Submitting a private-markets interest form does not create a commitment to invest or a right to receive any offering. Accreditation answers are self-reported. Capitalyst’s approval of an application only records approval of your interest; it does not verify accredited-investor status, establish eligibility for an investment, or constitute an offer of securities. Any future offering may require separate terms and verification.

Acceptable use

Do not use Capitalyst unlawfully, access another person’s data without permission, bypass authentication or usage limits, misuse tokens, disrupt the service, distribute malicious software, or misrepresent your identity. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute source data or service content beyond the permissions granted by its rights holders and applicable law. Do not use the service to facilitate fraud or other harmful activity.

Ownership and fees

Capitalyst’s software, design, and branding belong to their respective owners or licensors. These terms allow you to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of those materials. Third-party names and logos identify their owners and do not imply endorsement.

Capitalyst currently does not collect subscription payments through its billing placeholder. If paid features are introduced, applicable prices and billing terms will be presented before you agree to a charge.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Capitalyst is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including losses resulting from reliance on research or missed alerts. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Ending use and changes to these terms

You may stop using Capitalyst at any time, disable emails, revoke agent tokens, and contact us to request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access to address violations, security risks, legal requirements, or service discontinuation. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law. Changes apply prospectively; continuing to use the service after they take effect indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
