Market prices and company news come from Massive. SEC EDGAR supplies filings and reported financial facts. Company pages link to the original sources and show reporting periods so you can check the evidence.
No. Capitalyst uses completed daily price bars and a weekly market overview. Research refreshes daily. Check the dates shown with the data; a delayed or failed source update can leave older information visible.
Compare a stock's price performance with SPY or another watched company over one month, three months, or one year when history is available. Financials compare compatible reporting periods. Price returns are split-adjusted and exclude dividends.
Create rules for closing-price crossings, unusual daily volume, or new 8-K filings on watched companies. Alerts are checked during research refreshes and appear in the workspace. Optional email notifications can be enabled in Account settings. Alerts are not real-time trading signals.
Yes. Account → Agent access lets you create a revocable, expiring token for the MCP server. A connected agent can read dashboard data and your private watchlist, research notes, and alerts. Optional Read and write tokens can manage your watchlist, notes, alerts, and read states. Tokens cannot place trades or manage account settings.
No. Workspace pages require sign-in. Your notes, watchlist, and alerts are scoped to your account. An agent can read them only when you explicitly share an access token; you can revoke that token from Account → Agent access.
Capitalyst helps organize research and source documents. It does not execute trades or provide personalized investment advice. Read the original filings and assess the data before making an investment decision.
SEC EDGAR is the source for company filings. SEC Company Facts supplies standardized reported figures where available. Prices and news are supplied by Massive. Coverage varies by company: an absent metric is not a zero. Company pages retain up to 50 covered filings from the past year. Reports and financial figures display their original dates and source links.
